Virtual Mouse Jiggler ("we," "us," "the app") is built to do one thing quietly and respect your privacy while doing it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using our website or apps, you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Account information. Your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
- Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status so we can manage your plan and activation key.
- Activation key. A license key tied to your account so the apps can verify an active subscription.
- Basic usage analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying data such as page views and download counts to understand what's working. We do not sell this data.
- Support messages. If you contact us, we keep your message and email so we can reply.
What we do NOT collect
The apps do not record your screen, log your keystrokes, read your files, or track which programs you use. Cursor movement happens entirely on your device. The app never transmits what you're doing — it only checks, over HTTPS, whether your subscription is active.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and issue your activation key.
- To process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
- To send essential account emails (receipts, password resets, trial and billing notices). We don't send marketing spam.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with the services that run the product: Stripe (payments), our database and hosting provider, and our email provider. Each processes data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your account page or by emailing us — we'll remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we're legally required to keep (such as payment records for tax purposes).
Security
Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, and secrets are stored in server-side environment variables — never in client code. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you promptly of any breach that affects you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email support@virtualmousejiggler.com.
Children
Virtual Mouse Jiggler is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
